Pigeons are found almost everywhere in the world. It is primarily in forest areas that they reside and it can be both in trees and on the ground. The pigeon's body is compact and well developed for flight. The colors of the plumage vary depending on what it eats. If the food consists mostly of seeds, the plumage often goes in a darker color scale, fruit-based food tends to give a more color. When many pigeons stay in places close to humans, their faeces can become a problem.

- Do not walk near their nest.
